We are looking for a Culinary Head who can lead menu innovation, build global SOPs, and ensure consistent taste and quality across 600+ outlets worldwide. This role requires a blend of creativity, operational excellence, and international exposure to elevate our café experience in India and abroad.
Responsibilities:
Develop unique dishes & star products for Indian and international markets.
Adapt Indian menu offerings to suit local tastes, cultural nuances, and food regulations abroad.
Create region-specific fusion menus (e.g., kulhad-inspired drinks for UK/Canada).
Stay updated on global QSR & café trends to drive continuous innovation.
Design and implement global kitchen SOPs for consistency in taste, hygiene, and service.
Train and mentor culinary teams in India and abroad through in-person sessions & digital modules.
Build a video-based training library for franchise partners worldwide.
Groom new teams to ensure uniform standards and cultural adaptability.
Standardize recipes, portion sizes, and plating for global consistency.
Develop pricing and costing strategies adapted to international markets.
Identify, source, and negotiate with local & international suppliers.
Implement waste management and sustainability practices (eco-friendly packaging, kulhads, etc.).
Support café launches in the UK, UAE, Canada, and other future markets.
Assist franchise partners with kitchen setup, staff onboarding, and quality audits.
Create detailed culinary playbooks & manuals for scalable replication.
Conduct customer tasting programs for new product validation.
Collaborate with the marketing team on menu launch campaigns & promotions.
Ensure all menu innovations are aligned with brand storytelling and positioning.
Requirements:
Education: Culinary Arts / Hotel Management / Food Technology.
Experience: 7–12 years in QSR or café chains with global exposure (e.g., Starbucks, Costa, Tim Hortons).
Skills:
Strong culinary R&D and innovation mindset.
Proven experience in international menu adaptation.
Expertise in SOPs, training, and franchise scalability.
Leadership and team grooming skills with excellent communication.
Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally frequently.
